Children caught up in Sudan’s conflict have suffered sexual violence, according to the UN children’s agency. It’s recorded more than 200 cases since 2024 and says the total number is likely to be much higher. The war between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces is nearing its third year.
