US President Donald Trump says he plans to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the war in Ukraine on Tuesday. He’s been speaking to reporters onboard the Presidential plane – Air Force One. Trump says there’s what he’s calling a “very good chance” to end the war in Ukraine. Pressure has been mounting on Putin to accept the US-backed proposal for a 30-day ceasefire, which has already been approved by Kyiv last week.
