Recently, a display case in the Hangzhou metro went viral on Chinese social media platforms like Rednote. The screen showcases dancing ladies in delicate hanfu, and the visuals are so lifelike that many commuters can’t help but stop to watch it in the bustling metro station. CGTN reporter Daniel Arapmoi also encountered one of these display cases at West Lake Cultural Square Station during his visit to Hangzhou — a city where traditional culture and futuristic innovation coexist in perfect harmony.
