An explosion occurred at a department store in the city of Taichung in the central part of China’s Taiwan region at around 11 a.m. on Thursday, causing at least four deaths and more than 30 injuries. The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined. CGTN Stringer visited the explosion site and interviewed residents nearby, who recalled the incident and spoke of the current situation. One of the residents said the explosion scene was chaotic and stressed the need to save lives.
