Ethnic violence between the Meitei and Kuki-Zo communities in Manipur, India, has caused over 250 deaths and displaced tens of thousands since May 2023. The violence has severely disrupted daily life, blocking trade and travel. A community school for displaced children in Churachandpur is providing education to over 400 children, many from relief camps.
