In Gabon, preliminary results have been announced in the country’s first election since a 2023 military coup. He’s the first leader in more than half a century to not belong to the Bongo family dynasty.
Al Jazeera’s Ali Hashem reports from Libreville, Gabon. Steeve Davin Moughiama is a spokesperson for the president-elect, Brice Oligui Nguema, and he joins us from Gabon’s capital, Libreville, to discuss the latest updates.
