Crews and volunteers are looking for survivors in Myanmar, where more than 1,600 people have been confirmed dead. That’s after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck on Friday. The UN says humanitarian operations are being hindered by damaged roads and buildings.

At least 11 people have died in neighbouring Thailand, and several remain missing. Dozens of workers are believed to be trapped under a partially constructed building in Bangkok, which collapsed during the quake.
