Myanmar’s Military Junta commemorated the 80th anniversary of its Armed Forces Day with a grand parade in Naypyidaw. However, the display of strength comes as the military faces mounting challenges, losing territory to ethnic armed groups and pro-democracy forces resisting the 2021 coup. Battles continue across the country, with anti-junta groups gaining momentum in key regions.
