During an exclusive interview with China Media Group, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach, recalled the unforgettable moment welcoming President Xi Jinping to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. There, President Xi viewed exhibitions and memorabilia related to Chinese athletes and major sporting events held in China.

During the visit, it was evident that Xi is a visionary leader with a far-sighted perspective, clear goals and a deep understanding of the bigger picture, said Bach. He added that, when it comes to the development of sport in China, Xi envisions the future 10, 15, or even 20 years ahead which is incredibly inspiring.
