Nearly 2,000 representatives from over 60 countries and regions are gathering in south China’s Hainan Province for the annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia. With the four-day event focusing on the theme of "Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future," how do Asian countries see the ever-changing and increasingly uncertain world? And what efforts have China and Asian countries made to boost multilateralism and promote openness?

Guests in this edition of Dialogue are Professor Liu Baocheng from the University of International Business and Economics; Zafar Uddin Mahmood, policy advisor to the secretary general of Boao Forum for Asia and former special envoy for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor; John Pang, former Malaysian government official and CEO of the CIMB ASEAN Research Institute; and Joel Ruet, chairman of the Bridge Tank.
