Chinese nationals rescued from online fraud centers in Myanmar have been extradited to face trial in China. China’s government has confirmed that, after security screening in Thailand, 200 people will face charges relating to telecom and internet fraud. In recent years, China, Myanmar and Thailand have stepped up cooperation to combat widespread cyber-fraud operations in border regions.
