On March 25, China released a Report on China’s Participation in the Construction and Protection of International Communication Submarine Cables. The submarine cables are handling over 99% of intercontinental data traffic. CGTN was granted exclusive access to China’s SEA-H2X submarine cable system, which connects the country, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond.
