Beate Trankmann, the UNDP representative in China, shared in a recent interview with CGTN the progress of the cooperation projects between UNDP and China. She said that the measures taken by China in recent years to promote gender equality and protect women’s rights are moving in the right direction. The cooperation programs carried out by China and UNDP in safeguarding women’s rights are also promoting the contribution of women’s power to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
