On February 10, U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order imposing a 25-percent tariff on all steel and aluminum imports and removing all exemptions, quotas and exclusions related to these tariffs. This decision has drawn widespread attention and strong reactions globally.
CGTN Stringer interviewed workers in Vietnam’s steel and aluminum industries to hear their views. Some people said that under a reciprocal tariff system, they would be at a disadvantage and face greater challenges.
