The Russia-Ukraine conflict enters its fourth year in February. On Tuesday, the United States and Russia had a bilateral meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, without Kyiv and its European allies. According to media reports, Russia and the U.S. agreed to take efforts toward ending the conflict in Ukraine. Meanwhile, European leaders met in Paris for a summit on Ukraine and regional security. It came at a time when Europeans grapple with an apparent transatlantic rift. On this and more, CGTN’s Tian Wei talked to Zhou Bo, a senior fellow at the Center for International Security and Strategy at Tsinghua University, who recently spoke at the Munich Security Conference.
