[LIVE] Premier Li Qiang’s address at China’s Two Sessions
China’s political elite will gather for the country’s annual meeting on Wednesday (Mar 5) at 9am. It will be held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
This meeting gathers two key Chinese institutions: the top political advisory body the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) – which will open proceedings on Tuesday (Mar 4) – and top legislature, the National People’s Congress (NPC) the next day.
The Chinese premier will deliver the Government Work Report which charts the policy blueprint for China for the rest of the year. It also includes the highly anticipated annual GDP growth target.
