EU to cut imports by further 15% to protect industry from US tariffs, China overcapacity
The European Union is moving to curb steel imports in a bid to protect the industry from American tariffs and China’s excess steel capacity. The bloc will be reducing steel imports by a further 15 per cent from next month. It is part of an action plan to boost and safeguard Europe’s steel industry. William Denselow reports from Brussels.
