The Israeli government has unanimously approved the dismissal of the head of Shin Bet – the internal security agency. The vote represents the first time in Israelโs history that a government has fired Shin Betโs chief. Bar alleges the move stems from his refusal to meet Netanyahuโs demands for โpersonal loyaltyโ.
