London’s Heathrow Airport shut after fire knocks out power
Britain’s Heathrow Airport said it would be closed all of Friday (Mar 21) after a huge fire at a nearby electrical substation wiped out power, disrupting flight schedules around the world. Flight tracking website FlightRadar24 said at least 120 inbound flights to Heathrow, the world’s fifth busiest airport, had to divert to other airports. More than 1,350 flights to and from Heathrow are expected to be affected on Friday. CNA’s Olly Barratt reports from Heathrow Airport in London.
