Malaysia’s central bank releases annual report for 2024
Malaysia’s economy is projected to expand between 4.5 and 5.5 per cent in 2025, with domestic demand continuing to power growth, even as global headwinds persist. This is according to Bank Negara Malaysia’s 2024 Annual Report, which was released on Mar 24. The central bank says financial conditions are expected to remain supportive, with credit growth driven by rising incomes and steady domestic activity. CNA’s Afifah Ariffin has more.
