30% of Singapore university courses among world’s top 10 in their fields: QS rankings
Singapore’s universities have excelled in the latest QS world rankings by subject, with nearly one-third of their courses being ranked in the top 10. Subjects such as National University of Singapore’s History of the Arts and Nanyang Technological University’s Materials Science have been placed in the top two of their respective fields. In all, NUS had 46 courses in the rankings, while NTU had the most courses in the world rankings at 48. CNA spoke with Mr Ben Sowter, senior vice president at QS Quacquarelli Symonds.
