4 fatalities due to falls from height in 2024, a 10-year low
Workplace fatalities due to falls from height have dropped to a 10-year low. The Workplace Safety and Health Council says that there were four such incidents in 2024, down from 14 a decade ago. It says contributing factors include establishing specific workgroups such as in ladder safety and raising awareness through safety forums. Alexandra Anand reports.
