7.7-magnitude earthquake strikes Myanmar; tremors felt in Thailand, China
A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on Friday (Mar 28), with tremors felt in Thailand as well as China. In Bangkok, dozens of workers were trapped when a skyscraper that was under construction collapsed. Myanmar has declared a state of emergency after the quake, while Thailand has declared Bangkok a disaster area.
