Behind the scenes: LTA raids shop for non-compliant active mobility devices
More than 1,000 non-compliant active mobility devices were seized from users and shops last year. These include illegally modified personal mobility devices and e-bikes. The Land Transport Authority also caught retailers for some 20 offences involving non-compliant devices during the same period. Retailers of non-compliant devices who are first-time offenders face fines of up to S$40,000. Charlotte Lim goes behind the scenes on a raid.
