Businesses in Belgium are looking to expand or set up their operations in Singapore, while exploring new opportunities like energy and waste treatment. President Tharman Shanmugaratnam met with more than 30 Belgian companies — from industries like maritime, finance and manufacturing — at a roundtable session during his state visit. He also met several non-profit organisations to talk about inclusion and youth empowerment. Nadirah Zaidi reports from Brussels.
