GE2025: PM Lawrence Wong seeks to renew Singapore’s leadership
As Singapore approaches General Election 2025, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong is focused on rejuvenating the People’s Action Party (PAP) ranks, to place them in good stead for the next 10 to 15 years.

"But if there is no renewal, I think we will feel the effects of it, not immediately, not even for the next five years, but certainly in the next 10, 15 years,” said Mr Wong to reporters at the end of his two-day visit to Hanoi on Wednesday (Mar 26).

Going into his first General Election as the leader of the ruling party, Mr Wong said he feels “the weight of responsibility”, not just as prime minister, but as the leader of the PAP.
