US President Donald Trump on Wednesday (Apr 2) unveiled a raft of punishing tariffs targeting countries around the world including some of its closest trading partners. Matt Maley, chief market strategist at investment advisory firm Miller Tabak, tells CNA’s Asia First that the country-specific reciprocal tariffs will do little to erase uncertainty from the markets and could spell a troubled earnings season.
