Singaporeans need to be alert to cases of extremism and radicalisation, said Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam on Wednesday (Apr 2). He was responding to questions on two self-radicalised Singaporean youths who were recently caught under the Internal Security Act (ISA).
"Those who are either on the far-right, or with tendencies towards extremism on the Islamic side, have to only get it right once and they will kill some people. So we need to be very careful," said Mr Shanmugam.
