Law Minister Shanmugam won’t file report against 2 activists who disrupted Meet-The-People Session
Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam said on Thursday (Mar 27) that he will not file a police report against two activists who were disruptive at his Meet-the-People Session (MPS) in Nee Soon Group Representation Constituency (GRC) earlier in March. The two activists, who have since been identified as sisters, were shown making gestures at people filming the incident, with one of them showing her middle finger. Mr Shanmugam revealed that the sisters are under investigation for other offences. "They’re both young. I’m like in their parents’ generation. And really, I hope that they will have the space to learn and grow from this incident,” he said. #sgnews #singapore
