Minister of State Alvin Tan on helping the local arts scene flourish
All government-supported preschools will have arts learning programmes by 2027. The National Arts Council’s Arts Education Programme aims to engage preschool students through performances, excursions and workshops. The NAC will also be putting out visual artworks to HDB and industrial estates from August. Meanwhile, the S$100 SG Culture Pass โ which helps defray ticket costs to attend arts and heritage programmes โ will be valid for use across three years, starting from September. Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth Alvin Tan was in the studio to share more on helping the local arts scene flourish.
