“None of us should be told to go away”: Masagos Zulkifli on Calvin Cheng’s Facebook post
“None of us should be told to go away just because we have differences in our opinion”, said Minister for Social and Family Development Masagos Zulkifli on the recent saga involving former Nominated MP Calvin Cheng’s Facebook post.

In a post on Mar 13, Mr Cheng criticised a group known as Monday of Palestine Solidarity, whose members have been accused of disrupting Meet-the-People Sessions.

Mr Masagos addressed the issue at the unveiling of potential #GE2025 candidates at Tampines GRC on Wednesday (Apr 16). He added that he hopes “we will move on” as the Malay community has “many things to achieve together”. He also emphasised that the Malay community is “not a community with problems”, but is one that has been “courageous to solve our problems”.
