PAP reveals Sengkang GRC team led by Lam Pin Min
The People’s Action Party’s (PAP) unveiled its slate of candidates for Workers’ Party-held Sengkang GRC, led by former senior minister of state Lam Pin Min, who was part of the team that contested the constituency in 2020.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday (Apr 13), Dr Lam addressed what’s known as the “one-plus-one” narrative in opposition wards – the belief that if residents voted for the opposition, the losing PAP team would then serve as a grassroots leader and branch advisor, benefiting the residents even more. “I believe one plus one may not necessarily be two. In fact, one plus one can be less than one,” he remarked.

Dr Lam’s running mates in Sengkang GRC are National University of Singapore lecturer Elmie Nekmat, partner at deep tech venture Theodora Lai Xi Yi and company director Bernadette Giam. Read more: https://ift.tt/yaDPfsV
