Law Minister Shanmugam shot down claims that a tense incident between him and two activist sisters caught on camera at a Meet-The-People Session in mid-March was staged. Speaking to the media on Thursday (Mar 27), he said: "Staged means the whole thing was planned, which means I made the sisters behave in the way they did … I was at an event before I came to the MPS on that day, and I had been mic-ed up … Certainly it wasn’t planned that they would do all these things. I think to suggest that would be an extreme conspiracy theory." #sgnews #singapore
