South Korean court cancels impeached President Yoon’s arrest warrant
South Korea’s impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol is awaiting his freedom from detention, after a court in Seoul cancelled his arrest warrant, following an appeal from his legal team. Mr Yoon has been in custody since mid-January on charges of inciting an insurrection stemming from his martial law declaration. Prosecutors can appeal the court’s dismissal of his arrest warrant within seven days. Lim Yun Suk reports.
