Fake Job Scam: 266 Indian rescued from Myanmar, Thailand | India Today
The government has successfully repatriated 266 Indians from Myanmar and Thailand who were held captive in cybercrime centers. The Indian Air Force carried out the evacuation from the Myanmar-Thailand border region. This follows the repatriation of 283 Indians earlier this week. The Ministry of External Affairs, in coordination with the governments of Myanmar and Thailand, facilitated their release and return. The rescued individuals were victims of a global fake job scam.
