Kashmir News: Avalanche Warning Issued For Next 48 Hours In Kashmir Valley After Heavy Snowfall
Heavy snowfall in Kashmir valley has led to an avalanche threat in hilly areas. An avalanche in Gurez valley, Bandipora district, caused flash flooding and damage to residential houses. Authorities have issued snow avalanche warnings for five districts in the next 48 hours. After a dry December and January, late February and early March snowfall is causing problems for residents in hilly areas. Another cycle of rains is expected to start in Kashmir after Friday.
