Gene Hackman has died. The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s office confirms to ET, the actor, 95, and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, 64, were found dead in their New Mexico home on Wednesday, alongside their dog. No foul play is suspected, however an exact cause of death has not been determined. The two-time Academy Award-winning actor starred in several critically-acclaimed films, such as ‘Unforgiven,’ ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ and ‘The French Connection.’ He is known for his recurring role as Lex Luthor in the ‘Superman’ trilogy, from 1978-1987. He was 95.
