It’s been five days since Israel blocked all food, fuel and medicine from entering Gaza. With supplies dwindling fast, European countries have issued a joint urgent statement. The foreign ministers of Germany, France and the UK have called on Israel to abide by its international obligations. They say humanitarian aid should never be contingent on a ceasefire, or used as a political tool.
