The Mao De’s family, living in Svay Ampear Village, Svay Ampear Commune, Kandal, Cambodia, renovated their home with the support of the East Asia Poverty Reduction Cooperation Pilot Project and soon celebrated the arrival of their granddaughter. Unexpectedly, the little girl was diagnosed with congenital heart disease just a few months after birth. The Mao De’s family decided to undertake cattle farming with the support of the Project, hoping to earn more income to pay for his granddaughter’s medical treatment. Will their dream come true?
