U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky talked over the phone to share details of Trump’s recent phone talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Earlier this week, Trump and Putin had a phone conversation on an initial step toward peace in Ukraine, which begins with an "energy and infrastructure ceasefire." But it proved to be short-lived, with Russia and Ukraine accusing each other of violating the energy target ceasefire. Scores of drone strikes were reportedly launched hours after the phone call.
