One person has died, two are injured, and 28 remain missing after a landslide struck Jinping Village in Junlian County, southwest China’s Sichuan Province on Saturday. As of Saturday midnight, the landslide had buried 10 residential houses and a production building. Over 200 residents have been evacuated, and a temporary shelter has been set up at a local school.
